The chola pass trek is one of the best trips in the Khumbu Valley. It is a high trail going up to 5400m. This trek combines Gokyo Lake and Everest Base camp/ Kalapather treks. Venturing through rich Bhuddist villages, red birch and dwarf rhododendron forests and with magnificent views of the peaks.

Itinerary

Day 01 : Trip commences in Kathmandu, introductions and formalities , Height : 1336m

Day 02 : Sightseeing around Kathmandu Valley

Day 03 : Fly to Lukla, 2800m , Height : 1336m

Day 04 : Manju , Height : 2700m

Day 05 : Namche Bazaar , Height : 3400m

Day 06 : Namche Bazaar for acclimatization , Height : 1336m

Day 07 : Phorstetanga , Height : 3600m

Day 08 : Dole , Height : 4000m

Day 09 : Macherma , Height : 4400m

Day 10 : Gokyo Lake , Height : 4800m

Day 11 : Gokyo Ri - free afternoon/explore glacier , Height : 5400m

Day 12 : Thangna , Height : 4690m

Day 13 : High Camp - Cho La , Height : 5100m

Day 14 : Dhongla , Height : 4843m

Day 15 : Lobuche , Height : 4930m

Day 16 : Gorakshep , Height : 5200m

Day 17 : Kalapathar - Lobuche

Day 18 : Deboche , Height : 4350m

Day 19 : Thyangboche , Height : 3800m

Cost included : Hotel accommodation in Kathmandu (as per itinerary, 3 star rating standard, B&B, twin share basis), airport transfers, full compliment of trekking crew, all meals while on trek (except alternative by choice), all necessary camping gear (including sleeping bag, down jacket), overland transportation, National Park Fees, trekking crew insurance,Domestic Air Fare, emergency first aid kit.

Cost not included : Extra hotel expenses, single room supplement where requested, any personal expenses (bottled soft drinks, telephone charges, video/camera fees, etc.), domestic and international airfares, medical costs (except medical attention given by trek leader), rescue charges, tips for crew (typically around NRp100 per trekking day), airport departure tax (currently NRp1100 for international destinations), Visas and visa extension costs, lunch and evening meals while in Kathmandu (except Namaste meal on first night)
