Mountain Flight

Mountain flight is a very convenient way of exploring the Nepalese Himalayan peaks without the hardship associated with treks and mountain climbs. Most mountain flights are done in the mornings and during all seasons except in the rainy season of June through August. In addition to the spectacular views of the Himalayan panorama the flight also offers views of valleys, rolling hills and deep gorges.

Paragliding

Nestled at the foothills of the Annapurna range, the Pokhara valley is the destination for paragliding enthusiasts from all over the world. The valley offers almost 250km long panoramic view of the Himalyan peaks of Dhaualgiri, Annapurna and Manasulu ranges in a clear day. The view of Machhapurchhre or Mt. Fisthtail is the most stunning one, rising in the skyline without any immediate range between the valley and the mountain peak. Pokhara is also the starting or ending point for many popular trekking areas such as Annapurna Base Camp Trek, Upper Mustang Trek, Jomsom Trek, Royal Trek, Mardi Himal Trek, Round Annapurna Trek etc.

After a 20 min jeep ride from Pokhara uphill to Sarangkot viewpoint, the unforgettable adventure begins. Once you are air borne you can see three of the highest mountains in the world: Dhaulagiri, Annapurna I and Manaslu (all over 8000m). We offer 3 types of flights; tandem, cloud buster and cross country flights. The climate of the valley and thermal makes it an ideal area for flying.

With the lake 2000ft below, the mountains behind, and the unlimited potential for XC and out and returns, this has quickly become the main site for the area, and many pilots have based themselves in Pokhara for the season, flying from this mountain alone.

There are several other take off points around the valley but all need to be walked up.
